The T3 Whirl Trio Styling Wand has finally landed at CB Towers. We’ve been excited about this one since we saw a sneak peek back in March. As big fans of the rest of the T3 family, we were really hoping the Trio would live up to the rest of the range and we are happy to report that it certainly does!

With three interchangeable curling barrels, this beautifully designed device covers every curling need you may have. The 1.5” straight barrel acts in a similar way to the T3 Bodywaver, giving you supreme volume with waves worthy of a salon blowdry. The slimmer, 1” straight barrel gives you perfect spiral curls that, when brushed out, will result in uniform waves. Our favourite is the tapered barrel – subtle curls, beachy waves and textured “I got out of bed and it just fell like this, honest” hair – you name it. The tapered barrel is your new best friend.

And so to the ultimate test: Bridal hair! The Bride in question wanted glamorous but relaxed, natural but done and the demands of the Maid of Honour were no less tricky. And who better to deal with it than CB’s very own Emily? Armed with the T3 Whirl Trio and the largest can of Elnett she could lay her hands on, Emily took on the Bridal Hair Challenge.

The evening before, wedding prep seriously underway and Emily can be found pre-curling clip-in hair extensions. The tapered barrel gives natural curls that narrow as they fall. This gives you a curled look without losing volume at the root. Clip-in hair extensions are great for giving volume for fancy wedding hairdos!

Emily then moved on to curling the rest of the Bride’s hair using the tapered barrel at the front to retain volume and the slimline barrel at the back for a more defined curl. Once all the hair extensions were attached, Emily formed a Waterfall braid across the head (view a tutorial on this stunning but simple style here).

The next step was to gather the hair softly at the nape of the neck, using Kirby grips to secure it in place, adding a simple white flower. The style held really well throughout the day, thanks to the amazing curls made by the T3 Whirl Trio. We used the fourth heat setting of five to make sure the curls really set well and lasted the whole day. Both Emily and the Maid of Honour opted to keep their curls loose and flowing over one shoulder. Both used the fabulous taped barrel to give a soft yet styled look.
