How Does it Work?

Oxygenation technology works by bringing oxygen to the skin’s cells. This helps to boost the circulation in tiny blood vessels, resulting in a rejuvenated complexion that is fresh, dewy and glowing in appearance.

A treatment usually only found in salons, real Oxygenation usually only happens when oxygen reaches the skin cells from ‘inside’ the body.

The device does not put oxygen on or in your skin, but works by creating a layer of Co2 bubbles on your face.

This causes the body to release oxygen to the skin cells, increasing blood flow to the tiny vessels and encouraging the skin rejuvenation process, leaving skin glowing and radiant.

How Do I Use It?

The device has a number of uses including; cleansing, exfoliating, skincare application and delivering your Oxygenation treatment.

Daily Facial Cleansing

To use the device as a daily cleanser, simply wet your face, apply a generous amount of your regular cleanser and press the Power button once on the back of the device.

Then, simply move the device in a circular motion around your face for at least three minutes.

Skin Oxygenation Treatment

The device has a number of uses including; cleansing, exfoliating, skincare application and delivering your Oxygenation treatment.

Step By Step

1. To use, remove all makeup from your face.

2. Cleanse your face using the daily facial cleansing treatment (see above).

3. If the brush is attached to the device, remove it and insert the capsule into the device.

4. Now, gently apply the Geneo Personal Gel to the skin, covering the entire face.

5. Turn on the device by pressing the power button once and move the device in small circular motions over the face.

6. You will then begin to see micro-bubbles appear as a result of the interaction between the capsule and the gel, encouraging oxygenation from within your skin.

Good product

At first i asked for my first order to be replaced as it was not altering its vibrations after 3 minutes. It was immediately replaced but the 2nd product remains the same. I didn’t bother to have it replaced again as i can just time myself while i do the treatment. Every after treatment, i notice my skin is soft and seems hydrated.

Nice gadget, but no groundbreaking visible results

It is a nice gadget to pamper yourself once a week. I have used it for a month (4 times), after the 1st time the skin seemed whiter. the effect is temporary, of course. I will keep using, it is part of my Sunday ritual now. Let's see how it goes. No visible changes so far.

The sachets could be move convenient, I would say, if the gel was in a bottle, it would allow to measure the quantity needed precisely. As the previous reviewers mentioned, there is plenty of gel in the sachets.

Expensive exfoliation

It’s nice for an exfoliation but for the price compared to what difference you feel it’s nothing special

Nice, but expensive for what it is

I wasn't too sure how they were generating the carbon dioxide with this device to allow the Bohr effect. It doesn't explicitly say in any of the literature how they do this, so I thought that perhaps the device filtered air to separate out the carbon dioxide?

Now I have used this product and read through the ingredients it's quite clear that the device itself is only there to produce vibration, the CO2 comes from a chemical reaction between the capsule and the gel.

The capsule is almost wholly made of sodium bicarbonate which is compacted into a capsule shape. This reacts with the water of the gel to produce sodium carbonate (often used in toothpaste to create the 'foam'), water, and carbon dioxide. So the white bubbles/foaming that you see is largely coming from the sodium carbonate not the carbon dioxide, but it does show you that the chemical reaction is taking place and thus carbon dioxide is also being produced.

The effect on the skin is nice, however considering the mechanism of the product I would say it is quite expensive for a vibrating pod and some sodium bicarbonate, I would recommend purchasing this when it is on sale.

Considering the mechanism of the product, I would say that you could keep the capsule and re use it for another treatment as long as you pat it dry to stop the decomposition of the sodium bicarbonate. And I don't see why you couldn't use a different skin-friendly gel of your choice, as it is the water in the gel that the capsule is reacting…
